So wenig Medikamente wie nötig,
so gezielt wie möglich

Welche Medikamente setzen
wir in der Cardiopraxis ein?

Medications

As little drug as necessary, as targeted as possible – that is our view. Because: Wrongly used, even a hypotensive medication can lead to a paradoxical increase in blood pressure. With the many differentiated cardiovascular measurements that we can carry out in Cardiopraxis, we come very close to this goal.

Our team of physicians also systematically records all your drugs and possible drug interactions with each other. Unwanted side effects are thus avoided and your medicinal cardiovascular therapy can develop its full effect.

What drugs do we use in cardiopraxis?

One of the most important cardiovascular drugs we use:

  • Vessel dilating drugs (e.g. AT blockers, calcium antagonists)
  • Cardiac pump power brake (e.g. beta-blocker)
  • urinary driver (e.g. Torasemid)
  • heart rate brake (e.g. beta-blocker)
  • Rhythm stabilizer (e.g. propafenone, amiodarone, beta-blocker)
  • anticoagulants (e.g. aspirin, Marcumar, new anticoagulants)
  • Cholesterol sinks (e.g. statins, PCSK9 inhibitors)

When do we treat with medication?

Even if we try in principle to use as little medicines as possible, they can be a valuable therapeutic component for important diseases of the cardiovascular system. In high blood pressure, cardiac insufficiency or cardiac rhythm disorders for example.

Or if, for example, you have an increased risk of developing a blood clot. When used in a targeted manner, the drugs help to alleviate these symptoms, avoid other complications that may result – and ultimately maintain or improve your overall personal performance.
